Insurance & Payments

Tri-Rivers Counseling Associates, LLC accepts a variety of insurance plans and payment options to increase access to care. Coverage and benefits vary by plan, and clients are encouraged to verify benefits directly with their insurance provider prior to beginning services.

Insurance Accepted

  • Medicaid

  • EAP (Employee Assistance Programs)

  • Select commercial insurance plans

 

Please Note: Insurance coverage, copays, deductibles, and authorization requirements are determined by the insurance provider. While our office can assist with general billing questions, clients are ultimately responsible for understanding their coverage.

Self-Pay & Private Pay

Self-pay services are available for clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose insurance is not accepted. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) Services

Services may be provided by Associate Licensed Counselors (ALCs) who practice under supervision. ALCs are currently accepting new clients, including those with Medicaid coverage. All services are delivered in accordance with professional and ethical standards.

Payments & Fees

  • Payments are due at the time of service.

  • Accepted forms of payment include credit/debit cards and other approved electronic payment methods. 

  • Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee in accordance with practice policy.

Important Billing Information

Clients are responsible for any fees not covered by insurance, including copays, deductibles, or denied claims. Insurance benefits are a contract between the client and their insurance provider, and coverage cannot be guaranteed by the practice.
